ISRO and the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) have opened the registration window for the five-day online course on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). The course aims to provide students with a basic understanding of AI and ML. It will begin on August 19 and run until August 23, 2024.
If you are interested in learning AI and ML, you can register today at elearning.iirs.gov.in/edusatregistration. Please note that seats for this course are limited, so those who register early will have a better chance of securing a spot. If the seats fill up quickly, you may miss the opportunity to enroll. Approval for registration will be automatic, and students will receive login details after successfully registering.
This online course is part of ISRO's outreach program, which began in 2007 and has since reached an increasing number of participants. The program started with 12 universities, and today, more than 3,500 institutes are part of it. This course will be especially beneficial for students and researchers in fields such as computer science, data analytics, geoinformatics, geomatics, and civil engineering. The best part is that the course is entirely free.
Participants who complete the course with at least 70% attendance will receive a certificate of participation. This certificate will be available on the ISRO Learning Management System (LMS), where participants can download it.
